Facebook rules to stop auto-playing videos

Facebook rules to stop auto-playing videos. There are very few people who do not use social media like Facebook and Instagram. There are users of these sites owned by Meta all over the world. The number of users is increasing day by day. Spending most of the day scrolling through Facebook.

However, it is often seen that while scrolling through the news feed, many videos come to the fore. You may not want to watch but the videos are automatically turned on. However, sometimes the user has to read even in embarrassing situations. Again data costs are higher. Users of both Facebook and Instagram sites face this problem.

In the case of Facebook-

Open the Facebook app on the phone and go to settings and privacy.

Go to Videos & Photos by clicking on Media & Contracts option.

Clicking on the ‘Never Auto Play Video’ option will stop the video from playing automatically.

In the case of Instagram-

There is no specific option for this on Instagram. However, some strategies can be adopted. Turn on your phone’s ‘Data Saver’. As a result, while scrolling through the Instagram feed, even if a video comes up, it will not play automatically. It will not play until the user is launching his own video. Android users go to the settings option by logging in to their Instagram account. From there select the account option. Then use cellular data, then turn on the data saver option.
