There will be a 31-day holiday from April 3 to May 8 on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, May Day, Buddha Purnima, Baishakhi Purnima, Shab-e-Qadr, Jumatul Bida and Eid-ul-Fitr. Besides, educational institutions will remain closed for 15 days from July 3 to July 19 during the holy Eid-ul-Azha and summer vacations.

Primary School Holiday list 2023 Bangladesh: An eight-day holiday has been kept from October 1 to 9 on the occasion of The Holy Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), Durga Puja, Lakshmi Puja, and Prabarana Purnima. Apart from this, there will be a 13-day holiday in secondary-level educational institutions from December 15 to 29 on the occasion of winter vacation, Victory Day, and Christmas.
