All examinations at the National University have been postponed.
Faizul Karim, director of the public relations, information and consultancy department of the national university, confirmed the information and said that all types of examinations at the national university would remain closed till further circular.

Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, MP, said that students are the future of the nation, so the government has taken some decisions considering their health and overall safety. Those decisions are: Classroom teaching in all universities will start on 24 May 2021, after the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. And all the halls will be opened from May 17. At this time there will be no exams of any kind till May 24 (including National University). The exams will be held after May 24. And the online classes will continue as they are.
The Education Minister said this at a virtual press briefing on various issues related to higher education today. Deputy Minister of Education Barrister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Secondary and Higher Education. Mahbub Hossain, University Grants Commission (UGC) Chairman Prof. Kazi Shahidullah and officials from the Ministry of Education and concerned were present.
The Education Minister said, “We hope that the students will also prepare for them and prepare for their return.” At this time, prepare for the classes that are going on online. From May 24, we will be able to start teaching in the classroom. These decisions will apply to the public (including the national university of bangladesh), private and all universities in the country. And if a student is already in the hall, which is not supposed to happen, they have to leave the hall immediately. If the students engage in any kind of immoral, criminal and anti-disciplinary activities outside the institutions in any way, individually or as a group, without any connection with the education, the university authorities will not be held responsible for such activities.
