The Ministry of Primary and Mass Education has requested the selected candidates to appear in person at the concerned district primary education office by December 31 along with copies of all certificates and 3 copies of national identity cards, police verification form (duly filled), health suitability certificate given by the civil surgeon.

In October 2020, the Directorate of Primary Education published a notification for the recruitment of 32,577 assistant teachers. Later, in a meeting held at the Secretariat in March 2022 with State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain in the chair, it was decided that a total of 45,000 assistant teachers will be appointed this year. However, after withdrawing from that decision, it was decided to appoint teachers in 32,577 posts mentioned during the notification last November.
