The third merit list of the admission process was published on Thursday (February 03). The final list will be published on February 7-8. After that, the admission process will be completed by February 10.

 

Since the final round of nominations will be given after the scheduled date, no money can be deposited for the third round of nominations after February 08. The Convener of the Central Admission Committee of the University, Prof. Dr. Md. Mostafizur Rahman said that till Thursday night, about 21,000 admission seekers in arts and social sciences, commerce, and science units have paid the first installment. From this stage onwards, there will be no opportunity to stop migration to either the subject or the college..

 

According to the university’s admission website, the nomination list for the third phase of seven government colleges has been published. Those who have received fresh department nominations will have to pay the first installment of admission by 3 pm on February 08.

 

The first two had this opportunity. “In the first and second nominations, we have accepted the applications of those who have approached the concerned office of the university and requested to stop the migration. The number is no less. It will be about 1,000 to 1,500. Auto migration will continue from the third phase of nominations today. The final nominations will be published on February 8.

 

Regarding the procedure for the third nomination, Prof. Mostafiz said that the first and second nominations were given from the beginning of the college and the subject choice of the candidates. At this time, those who have stopped the migration will remain in that college and subject. Nominations have been made according to the preference and merit of the applicants. In the remaining vacant seats, new students are being nominated according to the merit list.

 

On January 16 (Sunday), the first merit list of seven government colleges in the capital affiliated to Dhaka University (DU) was published in the first year of admission to the first year of graduation for the academic year 2020-21. Last year, the admission test of commerce, science faculty of seven colleges was held on November 5, 6, and arts and social science units on November 13. According to the data, there are 6,500 seats in the science unit of the seven government colleges affiliated to Dhobi, 5,310 in the commerce unit, and 14,350 in the arts and social science units. The total number of seats in the seven colleges is 26,160.
