Order to conduct online classes: Ministry of Education.Ministry of Education orders online classes to be conducted due to the closure of educational institutions. In-person classes have been suspended in all educational institutions till February 21. However, the Ministry of Education has ordered to run online classes in educational institutions. Meanwhile, the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has directed schools and colleges to complete class activities online and ensure that the information of multimedia classes taken online is entered in the dashboard.
Separate instructions in this regard were issued by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education of the Ministry of Education and the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education on Thursday. According to the order of the Secondary and Higher Education Department, according to the instructions of the Cabinet Department, the classrooms of all educational institutions will be closed till February 21. However, television and online education activities will continue during this time. Other activities of educational institutions will continue by following proper hygiene.
The department also said that the teachers will have to take necessary measures to ensure the entry in the dashboard through the MMC app (http://mmcm.gov.bd) through the information of the classes being taken online through multimedia classes as well as the creation of content using multimedia. In the letter, the department said that as per the decision of the annual performance agreement meeting of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, there are instructions to complete the class activities of all secondary and higher secondary educational institutions (public and private) in the country online in the codid-19 situation. A circular has already been issued by the Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education.
According to that instruction, the class activities should be completed properly online and the information of multimedia classes taken online should be ensured to be properly entered in the dashboard. Meanwhile, on the same day, an instruction sent by the field level education officers from the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education has been directed to conduct online class activities online and to enter the information of multimedia classes taken online in the dashboard through the MMC app.
