70% of seats in the first year of graduation of Islamic University are vacant. At the end of the admission process of the second merit list of the 2020-21 undergraduate the first year of the Islamic University (EB), 70 percent of the seats are vacant. A total of 2,095 students are scheduled to be admitted to the three units of the university.
The third merit list will be released on Wednesday (February 2) due to the vacant seats, the authorities said. Sources in the university’s ICT cell said that 349 seats are vacant in the ‘A’ unit of the Faculty of Science, 829 in ‘B’ unit under the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences and Law, and 297 in the ‘C’ unit of the Faculty of Commerce.
In this regard, EB Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Sheikh Abdus Salam said that this time the admission process is a little complicated. There are some technical problems. We will have a meeting of the admissions committee soon. How to move the matter forward quickly will be discussed.
