According to meeting sources, at the beginning of this week, the Vice-Chancellors of the Engineering Group sat in the meeting on the admission test of 2021-22. In that meeting, they expressed their opinion about not keeping the issue of admission test for the second time. It is learned that the opinion of the Vice-Chancellors will be given final approval in the meeting of the Academic Council of their respective universities.

The vice-chancellors have given their opinion on not keeping the opportunity of admission test for the second time in 2021-22. They expressed this view at the first meeting held recently on the admission test of the engineering group. If you want to know in this context, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sheikh said that a letter was sent from UGC regarding the second time opportunity and short syllabus in the admission test. We have expressed our views in this regard. It will be finalized later at the Academic Council meeting.

Incidentally, UGC recently sent a letter to the universities seeking their views on the issue of admission tests for the second time and a short syllabus. In response to the UGC’s letter, Dhaka University and the Bangladesh University of Engineering have already announced their decision. Meanwhile, it has been directed to end the meeting of the Academic Council by March 15. Khulna University of Engineering and Technology has already fixed the date of the meeting of the Academic Council. Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology will hold a meeting of the Academic Council on March 15.
