This year, a total of 4,173 seats were reserved in three units of ‘A’, ‘B’, and ‘C’. Where there are no vacant seats in the ‘C’ unit. However, 90 seats, including 10 in the ‘B’ unit and about 80 in the ‘A’ unit, are vacant.

It is known that on December 21, the first-year classes of 2020-21 of Rajshahi University (RABI) started. At that time, the university did not get students against all the seats. At that time, a total of 377 seats, including 127 seats in the ‘A’ unit, 95 in the ‘B’ unit, and 155 in the ‘C’ unit of the university were vacant. Later, the admission period was extended several times and the students were admitted.

According to the latest data of the university, 4,173 seats were reserved in the three units of ‘A’, ‘B’ and ‘C’ this year. Where there are no vacant seats in the ‘C’ unit. However, around 90 seats, including 10 in the ‘B’ unit and about 80 in the ‘A’ unit, remain vacant.

Regarding the vacancy, he added that more or fewer seats are vacant every year. Because in Rajshahi University, the admission process was completed a long time ago. As a result, if any of the teachers get a chance elsewhere, they cancel the admission and many go there. Again, due to the absence of seats, many students get the opportunity to get admission in the subject above their list of choice by migrating.
