According to the notification, the Ministry of Education held a virtual meeting regarding the Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC), and equivalent examinations for the year 2022. According to the decision of the meeting, the selection (test) examination has to be completed by April 3.

GPA development is mandatory for all students to participate in the selection test except candidates. However, the candidates who have already failed to appear in the SSC examination are relaxable to pass the selection test. In this regard, Dhaka Education Board Chairman (Routine Duties) Prof. Tapan Kumar Sarkar said that the election examinations of all the boards across the country will be held by April. However, he questioned the announcement made by the Dinajpur board. According to him, its acceptance remains low until such an announcement is made from the inter-board.
