Climate Change Paragraph For School and College Students জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন সম্পর্কে অনুচ্ছেদ Climate change is the most complex and important problem of the present century. Because it poses a serious threat to humanity and to nature. Due to the fact that the earth’s normal environment is polluted and poisoned, the natural balance is under serious threat. So the reason for this depends on the natural stability and natural balance of the climate on the determination and its quick solution. Humans are responsible for warming up the earth, and it is humans who have to take an active role in remedying it and protecting nature and mankind, preventing the terrible threat of climate change. Since the 1980s of the 20th century, the earth’s temperature has increased by 0.74 degrees Celsius under the influence of greenhouse gases. If the earth’s warming increases at this rate, the ice in the polar region will melt by the end of this century. In the meantime, the Himalayan region is witnessing a huge change. The sea level will rise by 153 cm in 2050. Climate change will happen quickly.

This will have a rapid negative impact on inland aquaculture, marine and coastal, agriculture, forests, islands, mountainous regions, polar surroundings. With this change in different environments, 25 percent of the animal and plant world will be wiped out, and low-lying areas will be flooded. Drought, heat wave, unseasonal rains, and heavy rains will lead to severe disasters in crop production and forest resources. Billions of people will be victims of environmental disasters. By 2050, 20 percent of Bangladesh’s area will be submerged. In the coastal area of 1.4 million hectares, there will be a disturbance in the lona water. The rate of flooding will increase, crop production will decrease, the economy will be damaged and there will be a huge disaster in every field. As the earth continues to be on the verge of destruction, the governments and scientists of most of the world’s countries have reached agreements and signed agreements to reduce the level of global warming. If industrialized countries reduce carbon emissions and provide financial assistance to the affected countries, it will be possible to reduce the damage caused by climate change.

Why is this climate change?

  • There are natural changes in the climate due to natural causes. But the level at which the temperature is rising now is mainly responsible for the actions of the people.
  • The earth’s temperature has now risen by 1.2 degrees Celsius compared to the time when people started burning oil, gas and coal to drive factories and vehicles or keep their houses warm in winter.
  • Carbon dioxide, one of the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, has increased by 50 percent compared to the 19th century. It has increased by 12% in the last two decades.
  • The emission of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere is also increasing due to the destruction of forests. Plants hold carbon. As a result, when the tree is cut or burned, the stored carbon is released into the atmosphere.

What will happen in the future?

Scientists believe that a major danger can be avoided if the world’s temperature rises to 1.5 degrees Celsius from what it was before the start of the Industrial Revolution. Without it, nature, the environment, and human life will be dangerous.

Many scientists fear that there is no other way to prevent this terrible outcome and that by the end of the century, the world’s temperature will rise by three degrees Celsius. If so, the impact will vary from place to place in the world:

In Britain, the level of rainfall will increase drastically and there will be frequent flooding.

As the sea level rises, many small islands or island states in the Pacific Ocean region may disappear.

In many African countries, the incidence of drought may increase and result in food shortages.

Australia may get overheated and there may be droughts.

What are the scientists doing?

There is a lot of research going on about climate change and knowledge about the subject is increasing. Scientists are now able to find the connection between climate change with extreme weather behaviors in a particular place, such as excessive rain or overheating. As a result, such extreme weather forecasts are expected to be easier in the future.

What are the governments doing?

Countries are being told to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions to zero by the middle of the present century, i.e. by 2050. That is, whatever gas will be released, has to be balanced with measures such as planting additional trees. If countries can do so, it is expected to avoid the catastrophic consequences of climate change by rapidly speeding up temperature rise.
