উক্ত ১ পাতা ঔষধের ২১ টা বা ২৮ টা নিয়মিত ভাবে ২১ দিন বা ২৮ দিন খেতে হয়। এই পিল সাধারণত পিরিয়ডের প্রথম দিন থেকে পঞ্চম দিনের মধ্যে যে কোনও দিন এই পিল খাওয়া শুরু করা যেতে পারে।
প্রতিদিন রাত্রে খাবার খাওয়ার পর নির্দিষ্ট পিলটি খেতে হবে। পর পর ২১ দিন খেতে হবে। তারপর এক সপ্তাহ বন্ধ রেখে আবার নতুন প্যাকেট শুরু করতে হবে। কোন একদিন ভুলে গেলে পরদিন দুটো পিল খেতে হবে।
