44th BCS has crossed a number of applicants in the and a 3,5 lakh: PSCA. according to PSC sources, a total of 3,50,716 people have applied for the 44th BCS. The application period for A BCS was extended by a month as the final examination at the national university was not over. According to Bangladesh public service commission (PSC) sources, the number of candidates applying for the 44th BCS has crossed 3.5 lakh. The application period for the BCS ended on Wednesday.
The online application for the 44th BCS began on December 30 last year. The last date for the first round of applications was January 31. The PSC later extended it to March 2. The 44th BCS will be general. In this BCS, 1,710 people will be taken. Of these, the highest number will be taken in the education cadre, 776. The preliminary examination will be held on May 27. According to the notification of the 44th BCS, 1,710 officers will be taken in different cadres in this BCS.
Of these, 250 are in the administration cadre, 50 in the police cadre, 10 in the foreign cadre, 14 in the Ansar cadre, 30 in audit and as, 11 each, 8 in cooperatives, 7 in railway transport and commercial, 10 in information, 23 in the call, 6 in commerce, 27 in family planning, 3 in food, 485 in the technical cadre and 776 in the education cadre. According to PSC sources, the highest number of applications so far were received in the 41st BCS.
More than 4,75,000 candidates had applied for the BCS. In the 43rd BCS, 4,35,190 applications were received. There were 4,12,000 applications in the 40th BCS. The 43rd BCS is the second highest in terms of applications. The population of a few countries, including Brunei, The Bahamas, Iceland, Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, is also not as high as those who applied to the 43rd BCS.
