Bringing electronic devices in medical admission test is prohibited

Bringing electronic devices to medical admission tests is prohibited. The MBBS admission test for 2021-2022 will be held from 10 am to 11 am on Friday (April 1) at five government medical colleges in Dhaka. It has been banned to bring all types of electronic devices to the examination centre to keep the medical admission test free of duplicates.

DMP Commissioner Moha held a coordination meeting with the concerned people who took the medical admission test at the DMP Headquarters on Monday (March 28) afternoon. Shafiqul Islam. A number of instructions were adopted including the instructions mentioned in the meeting.

In the coordination meeting, several measures have been taken to ensure the transparent and smooth conduct of the medical admission test. Among the measures adopted is that the medical admission test will be held in accordance with proper hygiene. There will be an adequate police force at each centre. Candidates will not be able to carry any paper other than the entrance card for the admission test. The centre’s gates will be opened at 8 a.m. Each candidate has to enter the centre by 9.30 pm.

After 9:30 p.m., the centre gate will be closed. The bodies of all the examinees will be searched and admitted while entering the examination centre. No one can keep a mobile phone near except the centre in charge. There will also be a mobile court at each centre. To prevent covid-19 infection, the candidates appearing for the medical entrance examination have been instructed to wear masks and come to the centre. There will be a system of supplying masks without anyone wearing a mask.

It is to be noted that a total of 61 thousand 678 candidates will participate in the admission test at 18 centres in the Dhaka metropolis on Friday. The centres are- Dhaka Medical College (9 centres): Faculty of Arts building of Dhaka University;  Lecture theatre building; Building of the Faculty of Business Studies; Faculty of Social Sciences; Mokaram Hossain, Science Building; A.F. Mujibur Rahman, Mathematics Building, Science Building; Kazi Motahar Hossain Building; Udayan Higher Secondary School and Begum Badrunnesa Government Women’s College, Bakshi Bazar, Dhaka.

Sir Salimullah Medical College (3 centres): Eden Women’s College, Dhaka College, and New Model Multipurpose High School, Dhaka. Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College (2 centres): Tejgaon College, Indira Road, Dhaka and Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Agargaon, Dhaka.

Mugda Medical College (2 centres): Ideal School and College, Motijheel Campus, Dhaka and Ideal School and College, Mugda Campus, Dhaka. Dhaka Dental College (2 centres): Government Titumir College, Dhaka and Government Bangla College, Mirpur, Dhaka.
