Prizebond lottery results can be found on a special website. The software was inaugurated at the head office of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Saturday morning by Abu Hena, Senior Secretary, Department of Internal Resources and Chairman of nbr. Rahmatul Munim. Senior officials of NBR, the National Savings Directorate, and the Department of Internal Resources were present on the occasion.
From now on, customers will be able to know the results by entering this web-based software to search for the results of the prize bond ‘draw’ in the internal e-service section by going to the website of the internal resources department. The Department of Internal Assets has introduced a simple method of knowing the results of the prize bond lottery. For this, a special software called ‘Prizebond Result Inquiry Software or PBRIS’ has been launched.
On the occasion, it was informed that the results of the prize bond will be known in two ways on this website. One is by writing the prize bond number directly in Bengali or English in the search box. In order to search multiple numbers together in this method, the numbers have to be written with a comma(,). In the case of series numbers, you can search by typing the hyphen (-) between the first and the last number. Another method is to upload the Microsoft Excel file and know the results. If someone has many prize bonds, he will put the bond numbers in a Microsoft Excel sheet. After each draw, if the Excel file is uploaded to the website, if a number wins the prize in the lottery, it will be shown separately.
Prizeband customers have the opportunity to subscribe to this website. The subscriber will be sent an email to him/her that the lottery has been held automatically after the lottery. Director of the National Savings Directorate Md. Shah Alam said not all prizes in the prize bond are distributed. One of the reasons for this is that the customers of the prize bond are not aware of the prize. Many people don’t look for the results of the lottery.
The function was presided over by Shafiqur Rahman, Joint Secretary, Department of Internal Resources. Bangladesh Bank’s website also has a system close to knowing the results of the prize bond lottery. According to the Department of Internal Resources, the last two years’ lottery information is available on this website. There are currently 67 series of prize bonds in the country. There were 46 awards from each series. Every three months, the lottery is held on the prize bond. In a lottery, a total of 3,082 prize bonds are awarded in all series.
